ANNUAL INSPECTION- FEBRUARY 2004
From the Chief Machine Examiner / Registrar: -
Just a short word of thanks to all those who assisted with the examination Day on Sunday and contributed to it running so smoothly.
Thanks to the examiners; Jim (who at 84 drives up from Rockingham to assist), Norm , Bert, Spencer, Jack and our new examiners Clive and Don.
Thanks also to Glen for keeping the records up to date, John for putting on the barbecue and coffees, Ernie for getting new arrivals in order, and David for helping a few members who managed to forget their membership cards (despite all my previous pleas).
On the day we managed to examine approx 200 of the 562 bikes we have on our records. That leaves 362 still to be examined by 30 March 2004, to avoid getting a “please explain” letter from the Department of Planning and Infrastructure. If you own one of these bikes which wasn’t presented, please either get it examined or put in your “no show” form by 31 March
Thanks
