As you may be aware 2004 is a significant year in the growth of Western Australia. It is 175 years since the first European settlement in 1829. To mark this milestone, the government of Western Australia has commissioned a series of community events to commemorate this anniversary. One such event was a cavalcade of veteran vehicles travelling from the Perth City centre to the Port of Fremantle and another collection of vintage cars travelling from Guilford to Fremantle. This motoring event took place on the 3rd Sunday in May, (May 16th).
